A little about who I am
Full-Stack Developer (MERN) | Intern
Hi! I'm Arpita Dey, a Full-Stack Developer and BCA student who has been working as a 6-month intern at a startup, with my internship concluding in May 2025 — after which I will be joining the company as a full-time team member.
During my internship, I contributed to live projects including PMS and HRMS, focusing on frontend (UI/UX) development and improving user experience. I've also worked on the frontend of Ghar Basai, applying responsive design principles to build user-friendly interfaces.
Alongside my internship, I've built personal projects such as a Bank Management System, Currency Converter, and Weather App — each helping me strengthen my skills with the MERN stack and real-time application development.

Full-Stack Developer Intern → Full-Time
Codex Private Limited
- Contributing to the frontend development of PMS & HRMS — a combined enterprise project managing project and HR operations used in production.
- Worked on the frontend of Ghar Basai, a real estate platform, focusing on responsive design and user-friendly interfaces.
- Built UI components using React and Tailwind CSS, ensuring clean and consistent design across both projects.
- Collaborating with the team on backend integration and REST API consumption using Node.js and Express.js.
- Successfully completing the 6-month internship and joining full-time from May 2026.

PMS & HRMS
A combined Project Management and HR Management System built during my internship at Codex Private Limited. I contribute to both the frontend and backend — building UI components and pages using Next.js and Tailwind CSS, and working on REST APIs using Node.js, Express.js, and SQL on the backend.
Ghar Basai
A real estate web platform built at Codex Private Limited. I handled the complete frontend — building responsive pages, clean UI layouts, and smooth navigation to help users browse properties easily.
Currency Converter
A real-time currency converter that fetches live exchange rates via API and allows users to convert between multiple currencies instantly. Built using vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with a clean and minimal UI.
Weather App
A weather application that shows real-time weather data — temperature, humidity, wind speed, and conditions — for any searched city. Fetches live data from a weather API and presents it with a simple, responsive interface.
Bank Management System
A console-based banking application built in Java using Object-Oriented Programming concepts. Supports core banking operations like account creation, deposit, withdrawal, balance check, and transaction history.
